Es ist geplant, am Dienstag, 24. April 2012 gegen 13:32 UTC ein Kontakt der ISS im Rahmen der ARISS mit einer italienischer Schule durchzuführen. Das Istituto Comprensivo di Calolziocorte unterhält einen Kindergarten, eine Grund- und Realschule mit über 600 Schülern. Calolziocorte ist eine Kleinstadt mit ca. 15000 Einwohnern in der Nähe von Lecco.
Der Kontakt wird von der Brückenstation LU8YY in Argentinien aufgebaut. Es ist vorgesehen den Kontakt via Echolink auf der Konferenz AMSAT mit Node 101377 und Konferenz JK1ZRW mit Node 277208 zu übertragen. Auch eine Liveübertragung im Internet unter http://www.livestream.com/AMSAT_ITALIA/ ist vorbereitet. Während des Überfluges kann die Verbindung auf 145.800 MHz mitverfolgt werden.
