The YL Committee of the DARC e.V. is issuing the DL-YL-33 Award as a series of 25 different versions (editions).

Each district within the DARC e.V., as well as the VFDB, will issue its own version, with a total of 25 different awards (editions) that can be worked.

One can work different German YL’s and/or German YL-SWL’s and/or German YL club stations. Every call counts once per band and/or mode
All band and modes are allowed (except packet radio, Echolink and D-Star). QSO’s are counted starting March 1, 2013.

Counted are all personal calls of German YL’s, YL-SWL’s and the club stations DL0YLA, DL0YLB, DL0YLC, DL0YLD, DL0YLE, DL0YLF, DL0YLG, DL0YLH, DL0YLI, DL0YLK, DL0YLL, DL0YLM, DL0YLN, DK0YLO, DL0YLP, DL0YLQ, DL0YLR, DL0YLS, DL0YLT, DL0YLU, DL0YLV, DL0YLW, DL0YLX, DL0YLY and DL0YLZ.

The YL club stations DF0YL, DL0YL and DA0YL count as wild cards for missing stations from a district.

For each version/edition per district, one must have a minimum of 3 QSO’s with YL’s from that district (see DOK), as well as the district club station (for a total of 4 QSO’s).

Wild Card Rule:
In case a district club station or district YL is missing, one can use any of the three wild card stations (DA0YL, DF0YL or DL0YL) if worked for the award.

Example:
For the District H (Niedersachsen) edition, one must have a QSO with the district club station DL0YLH, as well as work at least three YLs with an “H” DOK starting March 1, 2013. If the YL district club station DL0YLH cannot be worked, but one has had a QSO with the wild card station DA0YL, then this QSO may be used in the application instead.

Appearance:
Each edition is printed in color on 200 gram quality paper. Every district has its own background color; in the middle is a motif with images/views from the respective district, on the left is a band with the state or VFDB logo. The title of the award is „DL-YL-33 Award / Edition …. (name of the district)“.

After checking the application, the bank transfer information will be sent via email. Please add a comment providing the edition requested and your own call.

Cost of the Award:
The award/edition costs 8€ per submitted application in printed form including postage, or 2€ as a PDF sent via email.
There is also the possibility for collectors of the complete edition series that wish to receive the individual versions only in PDF format to make a one-time payment of a 15€ fee to the YL Secretary (bank transfer information upon request) upon submitting the first application, with all further editions to be received in PDF format for free.

TROPHY:
Holders of the complete edition have the right to apply for the special glass trophy "DL-YL-Trophy". The requirement is the possession of all 25 DL-YL-33 awards/editions.

Appearance:
This glass trophy bears the DL-YL logo and is numbered consecutively. The call and name of the holder will be engraved on it.

The cost of the trophy will be 30 € including shipping.
