TODAY IN CONTEST IS VERY BAD PROPAGATION IN CROATIA!
DJ1AA:
Sehr laute Signale (z.B. Korea) waren aus dem fernen
Osten zu hören. Die 10m Signale direkt aus DL waren
hauptsächlich schwach, QRM gestört und mit kräftigen
Backscatter. Es erforderte fast immer "spitze Ohren"
und einiges an QRZ und PSE repeat all again..

Ich hatte durch die Groundplane doch mir sehr
heftigen Echos zu kämpfen, aber ansonsten hat

sonst hätte ich CW gemacht). Mikrofon nur mit Handschuh
zu bedienen.

Ich habe mit 100 Watt und einer R7-Vertikal in
CW teilgenommen. Das Geschäft war sehr mühselig.
Die DL-Stationen waren sehr leise und überwiegend
stark mit Echo behaftet

eingefroren, Beam vereist sowie Stimme und Ohren
lädiert durch Erkältung und 7 Tage Aktivitätswoche

aus dem Umfeld) sind kaum zu arbeiten mit 5 Watt

Hier in JO52FM kamen alle Signale, die südlicher

Ich konnte so viel mehr Stationen hören, als arbeiten.
Auch viele Stationen aus DL waren zu hören. Es kann
nicht nur an 10W out und GPA50 meinerseits liegen.
Trotz alledem hats Spass gemacht. Endlich mal wieder ein
Contest mit zeitlicher Begrenzung. Wer so wie ich auch am
Wochenende sehr wenig zeit hat, ist so ein Contest der
richtige, um ueberhaupt mal teilzunehmen.

Hat viel Spaß gemacht, obwohl sich meine Ohren oft
ziemlich anstrengen mussten.

Since DL stations give multipliers, everyone wants to
work them but as we have a poor skip with Germany from
Italy, we have to work russians; and they prefer to QSO
the DL stations trying to ignore us.

Hearing DJ/DL stations at S7 to S9 but very few listening
for weaker stations.

Please make new category SSB ONLY. You have 2 x CW for
single operator DLs and foreigners. Why you don't make
the same rule with 2 X SSB ONLY ? You don't think that
commit an injustice to put my entry in mixed mode?
And be sure, I'm not alone and only one SSB operator
in that beautiful contest

Enjoyed the contest even though there was significan QRM
due to a Russian contest in progress as well.
Many German stations causing QRM calling each other, making
it difficult for me to make a QSO. I suggest this contest
be changed to contacts between German and non-German stations.
Several Germans had their beams on US, and would not change
the beam headings for QSOs with the Eastern Hemisphere. Here,
I heard a lot more than indicated in my log.

I heard the faint signals of some German hams participating
in the DARC contest, but they were swamped by the stations
participating in the WSEM contest. Finally I gave up in
disappointment.
