1 Contest Periods
Quarterly, every second month of a quarter, every second tuesday

The "General Contest Rules" of DARC e.V. apply in the version published on the pages of the contest department.
2 Bands / Modes
Bands: 80m (3576, 3579 and 3582 kHz USB), 40m (7047.5 kHz USB)
Mode: FT4
Operation in Fox mode is not allowed.
Every station may be worked once only per band.
3 Categories
- Single operator, low power, single TX
- Single operator, QRP, single TX
- Checklog
- NEW since 2025 Trainee: Präfix DN1 – DN8 and /T Stations (only for DL)
Separate scoring for DL and non-DL stations
LP: max. 100W; QRP: max. 5W
4 Exchange
signal report and 4-character-locator-square (e.g.: JN49, JO61)
5 QSO Points
Each completed QSO once per band counts 1 point
6 Multipliers
Per new prefix once per band one point;
7 Final score
The sum of the QSO points multiplied by the sum of the multiplier points.
8 Log Submission
Please submit your log in CABRILLO file format via web upload. The web upload is
available at
https://dxhf2.darc.de/~ft4log/upload.cgi?form=referat&lang=de
The receipt of logs will be automatically confirmed by an email with a message of
possible errors in the log and the password for the access to your UBN-file. The logs
will be part of the DCL (DARC Community Logbook). By submitting the log, the
participant claims to fully accept the rules of the contest.
9 Deadline
All entries must be sent within seven (7) days after the contest.
10 Awards
Certificates will be awarded to every participant as PDF-file for self-printing.
11 Disqualification
Violation of the rules of the contest or unsportsmanlike conduct will be deemed
sufficient cause for disqualification.

General hints:
To avoid problems please use only "normal callsigns" without additions like /P, /QRP or similar,
also avoid using special callsigns with overlength. The reason is that no locator will be sent during the CQ call and the
remote stations will have difficulties to log the locators if they are not visible anywhere.
To convert the logs from ADIF to Cabrillo we recommend usage of our web converter, which is located at "Technical Help".
Please urgently pay attention to actual SNR repeats (not 599) and 4-character-locator-squares in the exchange (in the Cabrillo file)!
